Biography

1988 Born in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan.

2011 Graduated from Doshisha University, BA in Media, Journalism and Communications.

2011 Worked in the Broadcasting and Television Industry until 2020.

2017 Started to make ceramic arts at studio knot, a pottery class hosted by ceramic artist Kaori Uchida.

2023 Graduated from Kyoto University of The Arts, BA in Ceramic Arts.

2024 Completed the ceramic glaze training course at Kyoto Municipal Institute of Industrial Technology and Culture.

2025 Currently undergoing training in the ‘Uchikomi’ molding training course at the Kyoto Municipal Institute of Industrial Technology and Culture. ‘Uchikomi’ is a technique for applying patterns to vessels using plaster molds.
